Application:

Corundum mullite bricks as blast furnace refractories are used for brick laying of hearth with ceramic-cup, in order to prevent the infiltration of liquid iron and improve the thermal stability of hearth.

　　Corundum mullite bricks are manufactured by sintering of high purity fused corundum, synthetic mullite and chromium oxide.
